Cardmaking Kit – Starter 

You will love this delightful Japanese cardmaking kit. Not only are the card designs fun to make, they are a wonderful way to let someone know you are thinking about them. There is always something special about receiving a handmade card. The Cardmaking Starter Kit is perfect for those that are new to cardmaking or anyone interested in exploring their creative side. Once you learn some basic folding techniques you will be well on your way to having the necessary skills to design cards for any occasion.

The Cardmaking Kit is packed with a gorgeous selection of Japanese yuzen and specialty papers plus embellishments (listed below). There is sufficient materials to make 8 cards plus step by step instructions with diagrams. You just need to add scissors, glue or double sided tape. As well, we have included tips and suggestions on how the designs can be adapted to create other card or project variations. We take great pride in creating individually unique products rather than mass produced items. You will find no two kits are identical. Care is taken to ensure the Kits are colour co-ordinated and if you have a request for a particular colourway please let us know in the “Order Notes” section located in the bottom left hand side of the Checkout page after the address and delivery details. Please select from Red, Blue, Coral or Nature Tones.

The Cardmaking Starter Kit designs are the sailing swan, bouquet of roses, geisha girl and folding fan. If you are looking for more card ideas, our Cardmaking Designer Kit may be of interest with four more designs on offer including playful mice, garland chain, Christmas tree and Japanese love knot.

All our orders are packaged in strong cardboard for durability during travel. We use Australia Post for our deliveries. Tracking Number details will be emailed to you, if applicable, to enable you to follow your order’s journey online.

I am thrilled with the underglaze transfers and customer service. The transfers are on a heavier tissue which makes working with them so much easier. The colors are bold and heavy. I've not had any issue with having to relay the tissue to get the transfer to take. LOVE this product. Colors are spectacular.

I recently bought the Japan Crafts Papercrafts Pack and some tissue paper patterns for ceramics. The price was excellent, with lots of range. I received the products in perfect condition very quickly. I plan to buy more again in the future.
