Delivery Method

All our orders are packaged in strong cardboard for durability during travel. We use Australia Post for our deliveries.

WITHIN AUSTRALIA

Items delivered within Australia (excluding those classified as “letters”) are given a unique code that tracks the parcel along its journey. Express Post is also available for orders within Australia only. Excluding Express Post, delivery times apply from the day after posting and take 2-6 business days depending on the destination during normal trading conditions. Express Post is generally next day delivery between all capital cities (except Darwin and Perth CBD) and some major centres.

INTERNATIONAL

All international items are sent via Standard Airmail via Australia Post. An unique Tracking Number is assigned to your package and you can follow it online at www.auspost.com.au/track or alternatively email us at info@japancrafts.com.au and we can assist in locating your order. Generally, once the package has reached your country the local postal carrier will also hold the tracking information in their system.

Delivery to most overseas destinations is within 10-15 business days excluding Public Holidays and weekends during normal trading conditions.

We do not refund or replace for the non delivery of an order due to the mailing address being incorrectly advised.

We will endeavour to follow any Shipping instructions given by you but should this result in loss or damage we do not take responsibility and will not refund or replace your Order.

If orders are returned to us we will only refund the cost of the items (less the delivery charge) if they are in pristine condition. If you wish for the order to be resent we will repackage and ask you to pay the delivery charge.

Overseas customers are responsible for any custom duties, tariffs or other taxes applicable on purchases charged by your own country. Delays in delivery due to the collection of such custom duties, tariffs or other taxes are out of our control and not factored into the estimated delivery times quoted. We will not accept returned orders as a result of a customer refusing to pay any applicable custom duties, tariffs or taxes and no refunds will be given in the event of this happening. We do not take responsibility should the Order be detained, withheld or returned by Customs Authorities or the Postal Service.
