Ceramic Transfer Paper – Decorating Made Easy

This two tone floral pattern in chocolate and grey blue is perfect for decorating platters, bowls, cups and more and is one of our X Series larger format papers. There is also a red and blue version available XTPR3. You don’t need to be an expert to create amazing homewares and decorative pieces. Ceramic transfer paper does most of the design work for you or can be used in combination with your own artistic skills. How does it Work?

Ceramic transfer papers are easy to apply on both flat and curved surfaces and create instant decorating effects with little effort. It’s as simple as applying a child’s tattoo. All you need to do is dampen the back of the transfer paper and press print side down on the surface you are working on. Leave for a few minutes before peeling off the paper to reveal the pattern. Once dry any additional embellishing can be done. If applying a glaze, take care by gently dabbing the first coat of glaze over the transfer pattern. Subsequent coats can be brushed on. All our transfers are Japanese made, accounting for their high strength and excellent adhering properties onto raw clay, leather hard, greenware and bisque. They can be applied over painted or unpainted surfaces and finished with clear or transparent glazes and kiln fired to a broad range of temperatures from Cone 05-10. However, we recommend testing with your own glazes and kiln conditions. Please note firing will cause a slight colour change to the transfer pattern, so if matching colours, it is advisable to do a small test piece first.

All our orders are packaged in strong cardboard for durability during travel. We use Australia Post for our deliveries. Tracking Number details will be emailed to you, if applicable, to enable you to follow your order’s journey online.

I am thrilled with the underglaze transfers and customer service. The transfers are on a heavier tissue which makes working with them so much easier. The colors are bold and heavy. I've not had any issue with having to relay the tissue to get the transfer to take. LOVE this product. Colors are spectacular.

I purchased several ceramic underglaze transfers and I'm incredibly impressed with the fast shipping, the quality and ease of use. I used them on bisque and even used all of the small sample pieces (to try out) and they are all fantastic.
